The Who and The What

More details about Platinum OutReach as we are coming together. We are individuals with life experiences that most share, some worse than others. All of us with something similar in common, the thought of a better way to reach out to the youth who are so overlooked.

Unfortunately most of us are not given the chance or opportunity to excel in life. With everything seeming to be built just to promote failure. We are here to put an end to that. We are here to say, we are not against you and you are not alone. You can make the choice to make the best of your life with the support from us.

We are all about helping our youth reach their full potential to succeed and live a fulfilling life. Helping to avoid drugs and alcohol, prevent gang violence and youth pregnancy. We plan to reach out to the greater Denver area. Working with young individual to fill the void and give them something creative and productive to do with their time.

This is just the beginning......

Something I just wanted to share

I felt like sharing this because it is something that I see all to much everyday. Everyone talks a good, but no one want to intervene and do anything to help. So how are we going to expect anything different. It is not a  me against you thing. We need to learn to work together to make a world a better place for everyone. Everyone has them certain individuals in their lives that is always doubting your potential. But really only you can choose for yourself. Are you just going to mope around that no one believes in you? Really? Stand up and embrace yourself for you are the only one that can make a difference, to change what has been deemed impossible. Do the impossible, STAND UP, REACH FOR THE STARS THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!

Sometimes you just wonder what could have been, Other times you say I should have. None of it matters now because it's the past. Do your past mean that is who you are today? Why would you take your past and place it in your future? That itself is sure to keep you down. Now if you take the past out of your future what do you have? Nothing yeah thats right nothing but the possibility of creating something great for yourself. So what is it that hold's you back from accomplishing your goals? Nothing...... What? how can I say that easy the only thing in your way is yourself. We all have to learn how to distinguish things, such as choice and decision. One of them is unreasonable the other is loaded with excuses. Almost all things that you see and hear is just an interpretation of what really happened. Just some food for thought now think deeper

Hi my name is Damita Chatman. I live in Colorado and have a beautiful family. This is my first time blogging so here we go.

This blog will be about  the opening of a youth enrichment and redevelopment program. My husband and I have long watched to many people, kids and teens alike, we know and love grow up and be affected by not having the proper direction. Our goal is to reach out and lend a helping hand to those that need it the most. Our future, our kids.
